Inspired by the 2010 Ryder Cup which took place at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, the inaugural Holey Grail Trophy took place in 2011.
The format consists of 8 fourball better ball matches played over 2 days between the 'Sharks' and the 'Dolphins'.
In 2018 the event took on greater significance following the sudden and tragic death of Andy Collings, one of the founder members.
Andy was a wonderful and extremely popular person, and this event is a fitting tribute to the strong friendships he built. He is sorely missed and will always be fondly remembered by those who knew him.
